Isaiah 58:6
”Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?“
Our vision is to rebuild our community one family at a time. Upon This Rock purchased the old EMS building to restore and revitalize it and create a 24-hour 7 days a week community shelter that will house 75 individuals. We want our front end to be a drop-in center for resources such as housing, children & families support, Re-entry assistance, food assistance, mental health support and so much more. Our goal is to have this building up and running before the harsh winter months come to provide unhoused individuals with the help and support they need.
